Ben started his new school today. This morning was a little rough for him. I think it was because he's used to being asleep in daddy's car about the time that we're finishing up getting ready to leave. He cried and cried even when I gave him a bottle. He just wanted mommy to hold him. The funk continued at school a little bit.
Lincoln and I went back to the car to get all the stuff for Monday school (and for Ben to start). When we came back in Ben was crying like crazy - way worse than usual. It was sad. So, I held him for a bit and then put him in the exersaucer. He loved it and was then oblivious to all else. They said he was doing good and he slept in the middle of the day.
I'm eager to hear how his day went!
Doug might pick him up, so I might have to wait for details until tomorrow morning. Then again, Daddy was missing seeing him in the middle of the day, so maybe he'll ask some questions. :o)
