Ben

Here are some comments about Ben from the last month or two.
He likes to say B words - Bus, Ball, etc.
He likes to point at the moon and make an m sound - be it the actual moon or a moon in a book.
He LOVES books and having them read to him. He will bring me a book, turn around, plop in my lap and settle in for the story. Story after story after story - usually until I'm tired of it. (He doesn't tire of it.)
He likes to point things out in the books.
he really enjoyed finding the elf at Christmas and he was good at it. Then he would stand and point at the elf getting all excited until we gave it to him to snuggle. Super cute.
He still really likes music. He turns the stereo on upstairs everytime he's in the game room. He seems to sign/say more when he wants a different song.
Dec 27 Ben decided he didn't want to sit in his high chair. He wanted to eat like a big boy. So, he climbed onto Lincoln's chair and ate everything that was left on Lincoln's plate. Then to my plate, and then to Doug's. He did this for a couple/few meals. The next meal we just put him at the table at his own place. He loved it. This lasted a few days but now he's back in his high chair for most meals. However, he still does like to climb up on Lincoln's chair after dinner to see if there's anything good left. Also, he has many (somedays all) things that he will only eat with a spoon or a fork - by himself. No feeding him and no finger foods.
Dec 22, I took Ben to 1/2 dose of Zantac for each dose. Then, the next morning I forgot to give it to him at all before school. He didn't have any problems. So, we haven't given it to him since. The dr checked him out weeks later when he got a runny nose (since that could be an indication that the acid is bothering him). But, no. Just a cold. We will take him to the dentist soon to have his teeth checked out. but, it looks like his acid reflux might have finally worked its way out.
