We have so much fun with Lincoln. Today, when he was playing with his daddy (in particular) we had a few different times that we were laughing so hard we were crying. Once was with him and daddy wrestling and the other was when he kept begging daddy to "scare" him. He isn't usually scared, but when daddy jumps out, or makes a loud noise, Lincoln runs and laughs in the huge belly laughs. It's great.
The real reason for logging on to write, however, was a cool word play. Lincoln learned how to "knock" months ago. Generally he knocks on doors (like the bathroom door if someone is in there) or occasionally a window or a toy or such. Today, he and daddy were playing with Legos. Lincoln can now stack and build as much as daddy! They had made a high tower and daddy said something like "Lincoln, knock down the blocks". Lincoln started knocking (balled up fist used to make noise) on it and then just took it and demolished it - which he usually does. It was so obvious that he heard daddy say knock on the blocks. Really cool language moment.
