Sickness

This past week Lincoln had a sinus infection, an ear infection (or maybe 2), and the flu - strain A (supposedly H1N1). Rather than retype the details, I'll paste my update email.

First of all, all four of us are basically doing great. Lincoln is talking in sentences and being cuter than ever. Ben is smiling with some regularity and has quite a few periods where he's awake and alert.

We were back at the dr on Monday - Lincoln has a sinus infection, two ear infections (or maybe one and one almost?), and the flu (yes, probably H1N1). the fever really bothered him if he sleeps through when he should have more Tylenol or Motrin, but otherwise, he seems great. This was the third Monday in the last 4 that we've been at the doctor (Strep, recheck for strep, and this week) but he's also had the Croup since Ben was born. Holy cow am I ready to have all of us completely healthy for a few weeks straight!!! Thankfully, each of the illnesses (Ben has had thrush twice) has been a minor case. Thank god for small favors, for sure!

I am back at work (when I'm not in the doctors offices, it seems) and Doug is home with Ben (and now with both boys). We have about a month of this and then Doug will go back to work. I love Chase's benefits allowing him to stay home with Ben.

Take a look at the blog (http://sabrunnert.blogspot.com/) for a couple fairly recent pictures. (The ones of me weren't good enough to quickly crop and put up.) Ben's hair certainly looks redish in person - but like copper/auburn. This picture makes him look carrot-top-ish. :o) Lincoln does great with Ben but I thought this picture was cute - with him just looking at him like he doesn't know what to make of him. He does do plenty of that, too.
