Tear Duct Appt

Lincoln's eye appt this morning went well. He did great for his age. He's a ball of energy and full of curiousity, so he kept me busy, but all-in-all he was very well behaved (doing laps around all the halls).

We know for sure that he has a membrane blocking his tear ducts (as mentioned on the web site I'm putting below).

There is a chance that massaging it (like they talk about in this article) will pop/rupture the membrane and then he wouldn't need a procedure to fix it. So, we will try massaging it 8-10 times, twice a day, for a month. Then we will go back to the doctor and he will check him again. (Thankfully, next time he won't need dilation so the appt won't be as long.)

Presumably, if the membranes are still blocking the tear ducts then the doctor will recommend having the procedure. But, he didn't say much more (like where the blockage is or what the success rate is or anything that is mentioned on the website).

(I can't see the first picture on here, but the information is still good.)
