Just this weekend I heard Lincoln say "bye bye puppy". It was really cute and really exciting for me - I had never heard him use two words together without a lot of prompting. Doug said he has, but just pretty recently. Regardless, our little boy is definitely on the right road with his talking and communicating!
He's also adding new words to his vocabulary every day. Plus, he's now willing to try to say nearly everything you ask him to try, even three syllable words. It's fun!
Lastly, for now, he can identify which picture in his picture books is what. If you ask him "which is the tractor" he'll point to it. He has 5 or 6 books of pictures that he will do this to. So, I know that besides his spoken vocabulary increasing, his mental vocabulary is skyrocketing, too. I'm definitely a proud mommy! :o)
